Our Story
I grew up in Ilam, Nepal — the heartland of some of the finest orthodox tea in the world.
I watched smallholder farmers spend their lives growing exceptional tea, then hand it to middlemen who paid them 30–40% of market value while keeping the rest. The farmers did not know what the market paid. The buyers did not know who grew their tea. The system was designed to keep both sides in the dark.
IOCP CERTIFIED exists to close that gap.
We are Nepal’s direct farmer-to-buyer marketplace for premium Ilam tea. Every product on this platform is linked to a verified farmer with a real name, a real farm, and a real payment record. When you buy from us, the money goes directly to the farmer’s bank account — not through layers of intermediaries who profit from anonymity.
