Why This Matters
In Nepal’s traditional tea supply chain, smallholder farmers receive only 30–40% of the final retail price. The rest is absorbed by middlemen, brokers, and aggregators who add little value but capture most of the revenue.
IOCP CERTIFIED restructures this relationship by removing unnecessary intermediaries and paying farmers directly — 62.4% of every sale, confirmed by bank transfer with a permanent audit trail.
This is not a charity model. It is a fair market model that uses technology and verification to make direct trade possible at scale.

Seed Funding for Expansion
IOCP CERTIFIED is seeking NPR 2,500,000 (~USD 19,000) in seed funding to expand our farmer verification programme, build product-level QR traceability, and onboard the next cohort of smallholder farmers.
Note: Decision pending on whether to make this funding request public or to present it only in private B2B/investor conversations. This section will be updated before this page is published.
